How do the new Labour Codes change payroll for Indian companies?
The four Labour Codes, in force from 21 November 2025, use one definition of wages and require basic pay and related components to be at least half of total pay. This changes PF and gratuity calculations for many structures. Berri's Kesar recalculates each employee's structure, flags gaps and prepares payroll for HR approval.
