Cloud setup and cost review, with backups you can trust
In short
Berri sets up cloud hosting and reviews cloud costs for businesses in India. The cloud means renting computers and storage from providers such as Amazon Web Services instead of owning servers. Berri arranges backups, checks the monthly bill for waste, and sets alerts. Backups and cloud cost control already run in production inside a working logistics business.
The problem it solves
Cloud bills often grow quietly. A test server is left running, data is copied too often, or a setting made years ago keeps charging every month, and nobody owns the bill.
Backups are often assumed rather than checked. Many businesses only learn their backup does not work on the day they need it.
What you get
You get a plain review of what you pay for, what each item does, and what can be switched off or made cheaper. Nothing is changed without your approval.
You also get backups set up and tested, so files and databases can actually be restored, plus a budget alert that warns you when spending runs ahead of plan.
We learned this the practical way, running cloud systems, backups and cost alerts every day inside a working logistics business, including finding and fixing our own waste.
How it works with Berri, week by week
Week 1 is for listening. We meet the people who will use your cloud setup, study how the work is done today, and write down one result we both agree on. Before any build starts, you receive a fixed price in writing.
In week 2 you usually see a first working version: a clear list of what you pay for and why, at least one backup tested by actually restoring it, and a budget alert in place.
Then we run it with you and teach your team, step by step, until they are comfortable. If something stops working or needs a change, you talk to a person. Your data belongs to you and can be exported at any time.
Who it suits and who it does not
It suits businesses that already run websites, apps or data on a cloud provider and are not sure what they are paying for, or whether their backups work.
If you only use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for mail and files, you may not need this at all. Their built in settings and your provider's support may be enough.
It is also not a replacement for a full time IT team in a large company. It is a focused review and setup, run and taught to your team.
Common questions
How can I reduce my AWS bill?
Start by listing every service you pay for and what it does. Common savings come from switching off unused servers, storing old data in cheaper storage, and reducing how often systems check for new data. Berri reviews your bill, explains each item in plain words, and changes nothing without your approval.
How do I know if my business backups actually work?
The only sure test is to restore a backup and check the files or database are complete. Berri sets up backups and then tests them by restoring, not just by checking that a backup job ran. You get a short note of what is backed up, how often, and how to restore it.
Should a small business use the cloud or its own server?
For most small businesses the cloud is simpler, because there is no hardware to buy or repair and backups are easier to arrange. An office server can still make sense for some local work. Berri looks at what you run and explains the trade off before recommending either.
Can you set an alert before the cloud bill gets too high?
Yes. Cloud providers let you set a budget and send an alert when spending runs ahead of it. Berri sets this up so the right person hears early, not at month end. We use the same kind of alert for our own systems inside a working logistics business.
Will a cloud cost review change or break my live systems?
Not without your say. Berri first reports what it finds and what each change would save or risk. You approve each change, and risky ones are tested at a quiet time with a way to undo them. Your data stays yours and can be exported at any time.
