Berri is a new technology company in India that builds software for warehouses and 3PL operators. It can give you one screen showing dock bookings, stock held for each client and pending dispatches, built from your WMS exports and sheets. What breaks every day
Trucks turn up at the gate without a slot. The dock supervisor juggles bays on a whiteboard, drivers wait, and the waiting is rarely recorded anywhere a client can see.
Each client wants its own stock statement, in its own format, often every morning. Someone exports from the warehouse system, cleans it in Excel and emails it by hand. When a count is off, nobody can say quickly whether the error came from inward, picking or the export.
Storage and handling charges are billed from pallet counts and in and out movements that live in three different sheets. Small gaps add up month after month and turn into arguments at invoice time.
What a first version could do in two weeks
A first version could be a dock board: which truck is booked for which bay and hour, which ones are late, and how long each one waited. Gate staff could update it from a phone.
Next to it, a stock statement for each client, built from the exports your team already pulls, sent automatically at a fixed time. If you run chambers or cold rooms, temperature sensors could feed the same screen with an alert when a reading drifts.

How Berri works with you
In week 1 we spend time on your floor with the dock supervisor, the inventory team and whoever prepares client billing. We map where each number comes from and give you a fixed price in writing.
Usually in week 2 you see a first version on your own data. Then we run it, fix what breaks and train your supervisors so the board stays in use after we step back.
Who it is not for
If you need a full warehouse management system with bin locations, wave picking and handheld scanning, buy one from a WMS vendor. Berri connects to such systems, it does not replace them.
If you run a single small godown with a handful of movements a day, a well kept Excel sheet may serve you better than any software.
Common questions
How do I stop trucks waiting at my warehouse dock?
Most dock waiting comes from trucks arriving with no booked slot. A simple dock board where clients or transporters book a bay and hour, and gate staff mark arrival and release, shows who is late and how long each truck waited. Berri can build this as a first version and connect it to your gate register so the waiting is recorded, not guessed.
Can I send each 3PL client its own daily stock report automatically?
Yes, if your warehouse system can export stock and movements. A report can be built per client in the format they want and sent each morning by email or WhatsApp. Berri builds these from the exports your team already pulls, so nobody has to clean the sheet by hand. In week 1 we check what your system exports and what it does not.
How do I bill storage and handling charges correctly every month?
Billing errors usually come from pallet counts and movement records sitting in separate sheets. A report that puts inward, outward and days held side by side for each client gives a charge you can check line by line. Berri can build this from your own records. You keep the rates and rules, the report only applies them the same way every time.
Can I monitor cold room temperature in my warehouse from my phone?
Yes. Temperature sensors in each chamber can send readings to one screen, with an alert on WhatsApp when a reading goes outside the range you set. Berri runs sensor integration like this in production inside a logistics business. We first check whether your existing sensors can share readings, so you may not need new devices to start.
Will this replace my warehouse management software?
No. Berri reads from the software you already use, through exports or a connection where the vendor allows it, and builds the views your system does not give you, such as dock waiting or per client statements. Your data stays yours and can be exported at any time. If you need a new WMS, a WMS vendor is the right choice.
