What breaks every day
Each site keeps its own register for cement, steel and labour attendance, often in a notebook or a phone photo. By the time the head office sees the numbers, they are a week old and nobody can say which site is running over.
Buyers and channel partners call the sales office to ask about possession dates, payment schedules and construction progress. The answers depend on who picks up, and promises made on the phone rarely reach the site engineer.
Contractor bills arrive with measurements that nobody has checked against what was actually poured or laid. The gap between what was ordered, what reached site and what was billed is where money leaks.
What a first version could do in two weeks
A first version could gather each site's daily entry for material received, material used and workers present into one board for the owner, with sites that look off flagged in the morning.
Next to it, a WhatsApp assistant could answer buyer questions about their unit's payment schedule and the latest progress photos, using only the information you approve for sharing.
This is a proposal, not a promise. How far it goes depends on how your sites record things today, and we will tell you plainly in the first week what is realistic.
How Berri works with you
In week 1 we visit a site and the accounts desk, look at the registers, the Tally ledgers and the buyer sheets, and give you a fixed price in writing.
Usually in week 2 you see a first version working on your own data. Then we run it, fix what breaks and teach your site engineers and office staff to use it. Your data stays yours and can be exported at any time.
Who it is not for
If you need structural design, drawing or estimation software, use a dedicated engineering tool. Berri does not draw or calculate structures.
If you want a full property listing portal to sell flats to the public, a listing platform will reach more buyers. Berri can build your own project website, but it is not a marketplace.
Common questions
How can I see material usage across all my construction sites in one place?
Each site enters what arrived and what was used, by phone or from a simple sheet, and a dashboard adds it up for every site. Berri builds this around the way your engineers already record things, so they do not have to learn a heavy system. The owner sees one morning view and can open any site to check the detail behind a number.
Can buyers check their flat's payment schedule on WhatsApp?
Yes. A WhatsApp assistant can read the buyer's payment plan and the receipts already recorded, and reply when a buyer asks what is due and when. Berri runs a WhatsApp assistant in daily use inside a working business. You decide exactly which details a buyer can see, and anything the assistant cannot answer is passed to your sales team.
How do I check contractor bills against work actually done?
The trick is putting three things side by side: what was ordered, what reached site, and what the contractor billed. When these live in separate notebooks, nobody compares them. A report that lines them up for each contractor shows the gaps quickly. Berri can build this from your site registers and your Tally or accounts exports.
Will site supervisors with basic phones be able to use it?
The aim is that they can. Many site entries can come through a short WhatsApp message or a simple form that works on any smartphone. In week 1 we look at what phones and habits your supervisors have and design the entry around them. If something needs more than they can manage, we say so before building it.
Does Berri replace our accounting software for the project?
No. Berri connects to the accounting software you already use, such as Tally or an ERP export, and reads from it. Your accountant keeps working the way they do today. The dashboards and reports sit on top, so the owner sees site progress and money in one view without anyone retyping figures.
